“Parents are children’s first and most enduring educators. When parents and practitioners work together in early years settings, the results have a positive impact on children’s development and learning”
(The Early Years Foundation Stage: Themes and Commitments, 2007)
Building a good relationship with the parents of the nursery is paramount to the process of settling and developing your child within a nursery environment. We are committed to developing this relationship as a method of building up knowledge of each child in order that we can best meet each individual child’s needs. We have many procedures that are designed to build the bridges between home and nursery. These include:
“Daisy Chain provides a caring environment centred around the children and their families. Staff are focussed on the children's welfare as well as making parent's lives as easy as possible"
Kirsty Preece – August 2015
"Can't fault this nursery! Never have been able to. I've had two children attend this nursery and both loved it, and has helped in a big way in progression for them" Sally Clarke - August 2015
