We believe in working together
“Parents are children’s first and most enduring educators. When parents and practitioners work together in early years settings, the results have a positive impact on children’s development and learning”
(The Early Years Foundation Stage: Themes and Commitments, 2007)
Building a good relationship with the parents of the nursery is paramount to the process of settling and developing your child within a nursery environment. We are committed to developing this relationship as a method of building up knowledge of each child in order that we can best meet each individual child’s needs. We have many procedures that are designed to build the bridges between home and nursery. These include:
- Monthly newsletter
- Parent’s evenings and parent’s participation sessions
- Parent's handbook
- A room handbook, which gives information about the routines and staff within each room.
